Our Fundraising Efforts
Our next Bingo will be back in Faith Hall at Sacred Heart Parish in Boise. It will be announced in the parish bulletin. Meanwhile, St. Patrick’s Day Dinner is March 12th, tickets can be purchased at the parish office, from a Knight, and through PayPal (knightsofcolumbuscouncil899@gmail.com) for $15 per person.
The Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus Council 899 are delighted to continue the efforts of our late Brother Knight Jeff Ford and the council’s Walking Rosary project. This community effort celebrates the core of our Catholic faith and blesses the vision of a physical place of spiritual adoration.
The general completion of the Walking Rosary’s construction was in 2015. To fully realize the splendor of this treasured location, the statue of Our Blessed Mother Mary will be added. The surrounding landscape and the installation of the statue is anticipated to be completed by 2022.
Represented in a statue configuration, complemented with a place to sit or kneel, the statue of Mary will commemorate this space and enhance the Walking Rosary as a spiritual reflection of our most Holy Mother of God – serving as a reminder of our greatest example of faith.
Your contribution today will directly assist our efforts as well as help support the fundraising means to realize this amazing addition to Sacred Heart’s Walking Rosary.
